The Stanley Hydraulic Rail Drill Kit (RD12) delivers industry-leading drilling performance for both hardened and standard rail—using one tool and one bit. Paired with exclusive indexable carbide-tipped bits, this lightweight, high-performance drill provides the lowest cost per hole on the market today.
Its rugged aluminum construction ensures easy handling during setup, loading, and unloading, without compromising strength or durability. The RD12 is equipped with integrated water ports for continuous lubrication, improving drill bit lifespan and eliminating the need for costly oil or chemical storage. An automatic water shut-off engages when the spindle retracts, conserving water and minimizing refill downtime.
Featuring a quick-mount over-center clamp, the RD12 allows for rapid and secure rail attachment. The automatic feed and spindle speed controls offer consistent drilling precision, while an integrated tool rack holds extra bits and the included Torx™ driver—streamlining setup and operation.
